Please how do you handle it.

An employee was attacked by armed robbers leaving him stabbed and injured, his wallet, money and phones were stolen. The company took responsibility of taken care of him but refused to get him another phone, instead the company’s phone was replaced back.

Please note our response is limited by the fact that we do not have any information about the nature of the employment, or the terms of the employment contract, and whether or not there is any insurance that was taken out on the employee.

However from a general legal perspective, if the employee was injured in the course of duties, then he should be entitled to compensation for damages suffered, and this would include injury to his person and any injury to his property including things like mobile phones.
