Q: How does the Consultation work?

A: Consultations are either done in person, by email or over the phone. The consultation is done with a qualified lawyer, and all payments go to the lawyer. LawPàdí does not engage in any fee splitting arrangement or do we work on a paid referral basis, as this is against the Rules of Professional Conduct 2007 for Nigerian Lawyers. LawPàdí does not  provide any legal services here, all we do is work with both the client and lawyer to schedule a convenient time for the consultation.

Q: How much does the consultation cost?

A:The consultation fee is N15,000.

Q: How secure is my information?

A: Any information supplied will be handled with care and the highest levels of security. Any information supplied by you will only be used to administer your relationship with the lawyer we refer you to. We do not sell or trade data with any third parties, unless you ask us to in writing.

Q: Can I obtain a refund?

A:We strive to ensure that the lawyers we refer you to are lawyers with the requisite knowledge to handle your queries and questions. However, if for any justifiable reason you unhappy with the quality of the information provided to you by the lawyer, we will work to try to get a refund of the consultation fee for you. Please email contact@lawpadi.com with full details of the reason for the refund request and we will respond within 7 working days. Please note that refunds are only applicable where the consultation never took place as scheduled, or the information provided is totally and wholly incorrect (we will not refund because the information provided to you by the lawyer is not the outcome you hoped for).

Q: How long will it take to schedule a consultation?

A: We endeavour to set up a consultation for the paid consultations within 24 hours of booking. However, this is flexible based on the availability of the client and the lawyer. Free consultations take anywhere from 7-10 business days.
