I bought data and my money was debited but not given data until 5hrs later by the network provider? It caused downtime, can I sue for that?

Hello Emmanuel,

Thank you for contacting us.

If you were to sue it would be unlikely that you would be successful, as you would have to proof that you have suffered some quantifiable damages by reason of the delay in not getting the data at the time you requested it. Further, if the network provider was able to show that there were technical unforeseen challenges which led to the delay and there was no negligence or malice involved, then it would make your claim even less likely to succeed. However, please note that is if you decided to sue in a court of law.

However, we believe another option you have would be to follow the steps as laid down in this article – How to complain to the CPC and complain to the CPC.
